Arbor Center for Teaching
The Arbor Center for Teaching (ACT) is dedicated to the training and guidance of future teachers and school leaders in creating educational settings that cultivate intellect, character and creativity for children in a variety of settings. ACT trains teachers in the Arbor educational philosophy through a two-year apprenticeship program. Working directly with Arbor's experienced teachers and supervisors, apprentices combine paid, full-time classroom work with a thorough study of educational ideas and practices.
